Movido Dubs is the full-length debut by Movido, a warm and dubby deep house odyssey that resulted from the collaboration between San Francisco dance music pioneers Charles Spencer and Mauricio Aviles. More than simply a compilation of songs, the album is arranged to take listeners on a head-nodding, hip-swaying vibe experience from front to back and everywhere in between. Drenched with minor chords, intricate percussion and lush atmospherics, Movido Dubs will resonate with Deep House, Tech-House, Lounge House, and Minimal House/Techno audiences. Fans of artists and deejays like Mark Farina, Tiefschwarz , Jimpster, Chez n Trent, Restless Soul and labels like Prescription, Freerange, Paper, Fresh Fruit, Naked should give this one a listen. Charles Spencer co-founded Loveslap! Recordings in 1997 and has produced and performed on more than 200 records. He achieved a smashing international dance hit with his remixes of Zap Mama's "Crazy Life" which was released on Shelter/Luaka Bop in 2001 and Goapele's 'Closer' which was released on Loveslap! In 2004. He is currently working on The Galaxy Group debut LP with Capitol A. Mauricio Aviles is a San Francisco based deejay and producer who is always name-checked for his influence on what has become known as the 'San Francisco Sound'. Mauricio has visited every corner of the globe with his record box and achieved a good deal of international acclaim for his 'Naked Music Nude Dimensions II' mix compilation.
